PURCHASE

When choosing broccoli at the store, choose broccoli with firm stalks and tight florets. Broccoli with dried or browning stems should be avoided.

    KEEP

Broccoli should be stored in an open or loose plastic bag and should only be washed prior to use. Properly stored broccoli can last upwards of a week.

      PREPARE

Wash broccoli just before use. Depending on your preferences, you can cut the stem off and toss it or keep it for use. Broccoli can be served raw, steamed, roasted, or sauteed.
