Home Feeds Nevada Agriculture Food Purchase Program

The Home Feeds Nevada Agriculture Food Purchase Program was established with the passage of Senate Bill 370 during the 81st Nevada Legislative Session to help Nevada become more food secure and create economic opportunity for Nevada agricultural producers. Through this program, the Nevada Department of Agriculture will purchase nutritious foods that are grown, produced or processed in Nevada and distribute them through designated food banks.

The NDA is accepting applications for the following products and/or services: 

  • Locally produced food products as listed in the appendix of the RFA
  • Transportation services to transport food from storage sites to designated food banks

A business may apply to provide one or all of the products and/or services.
