Plums
PURCHASE
Choose smooth plums. Avoid bruises and soft spots.
KEEP
Plums can be kept at room temperature for up to three days. Tip: Store in paper bag to ripen more quickly.
PREPARE
Rinse plums under cool water prior to eating or using in a recipe.
RECIPE
Fruit Dip
8 ounces Vanilla yogurt
2 tablespoons Orange juice
1 tablespoon Lime juice
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
2 Red apples, (cored and sliced)
1 Pear (cored and sliced)
1 Plum (sliced)
8 Strawberries
- In a small bowl, combine yogurt, orange juice, lime juice and brown sugar; mix well.
- Serve dip in a bowl on a large plate, and surround with fruit.
