PURCHASE

Green onions should have fresh green tops and a white base. Those with yellowing tops or soggy white ends should be avoided.

    KEEP

Green onions can be kept in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to one week. They should be kept in the crisper drawer.

      PREPARE

Before use, green onions should be rinsed thoroughly – inside and out. Trim the roots off and any dry ends up top. Chop to your desired size.
