Corn


  • Ears of corn on a table.

PURCHASE

Choose corn with green husks and fresh silks. Check that there is a tight row of kernels.

    KEEP

    Store in the refrigerator with husks on. Use within two days.

      PREPARE

      Remove husks and rub off any remaining strings. Rinse corn under cool water prior to eating or using in a recipe.

        RECIPE

        Sweet Corn Salad

        2 cups Corn kernels

        1 Large tomato (diced)

        1 Cucumber (diced)

        ½ Red onion (sliced)

        ¼ cup Lime or lemon juice or 3 Tbsp wine vinegar

        Pinch of sugar or drop of honey

        1 tablespoon Olive oil

        ½ teaspoon Salt

        Black pepper to taste

        1. Toss all ingredients together in a bowl.
