SPARKS, Nev. -
May 19, 2023The Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) has
announced Patricia Hoppe as the new Division of Food and Nutrition Administrator.
Patricia has been with the NDA as Deputy Administrator for the division since
2016 and has been serving the state for nearly 20 years.
“We are happy to welcome Patricia into this role
as the Division of Food and Nutrition Administrator,” said NDA Director J.J.
Goicoechea. “She has displayed leadership skills as deputy administrator over
the last six years that will help her succeed in this role.”
Administrator Hoppe has a Bachelor of Science in psychology
from California Coast University. Her accomplishments also include being a
graduate of the Leadership Las Vegas Program with the Vegas Chamber, and she
served as an Executive Council member for the National Certified Public Manager
Consortium. Her professional
background in behavioral psychology and ethical management enable her to
interact effortlessly at all levels while encouraging positive accountability
and increased collaboration.
“I look forward to working with Administrator Hoppe
and her continued leadership for the Division of Food and Nutrition,” said
Director Goicoechea.
