Correcting rumors about cattle theft in Nevada

“The Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) would like to remind the industry that suspected cattle theft must be reported to our Livestock Identification program or an Agriculture Enforcement Marshal,” Doug Farris, Animal Industry division administrator, said. “Our team has received some reports of cattle missing in the areas around Paradise Valley and Elko, but we’d like to correct the rumors that cattle have been reported missing around Fallon. If you suspect missing cattle on your operation, please contact us immediately.”
