As the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) receives calls and emails regarding the death of horses on and around the Mustang Monument, the agriculture enforcement unit continues to investigate the reports of vandalism of water sources.

“I want to thank everyone who has called, emailed and reached out to us on Facebook,” Director Jim Barbee said. “We know this issue is important to a lot of people, and we are taking it very seriously, as we do with every investigation. Because the investigation is currently underway, we are unable to discuss any specifics.”

Information will be released as soon as it becomes available. Anyone who has any information regarding this case is asked to call Secret Witness at 775-738-4357. Any tips will be greatly appreciated and can be made with complete anonymity.
