The event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 8725 South Eastern Ave. in Las Vegas, provides homeowners, agriculturists, landscapers and other pesticide users an opportunity to safely dispose of pesticide waste, free of charge.

Acceptable products include insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodent baits and other pesticides. The following items will not be accepted: batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, degreasers, pesticide rinsate and fertilizers or nutrients that do not contain pesticide active ingredients.
