Department of Agriculture announces free pesticide collection in Sparks April 25, 2015
SPARKS,
Nev. - The Nevada Department of Agriculture is sponsoring a free pesticide
collection day in Sparks on Saturday, April 25, 2015.
Take
this opportunity to properly discard old, unwanted and unusable pesticides. All
applicators including nursery operators, landscapers, licensed pest control
operators, farmers, ranchers and other pesticide users, including homeowners,
are eligible.
Products that will be accepted: insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, rodent
baits and other pesticides.
The following products will not be accepted: batteries, motor oil,
antifreeze, degreasers, pesticide rinsate and fertilizers and nutrients that do
not contain pesticide active ingredients.
