The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
The Emergency Food Assistance Program provides USDA Foods for distribution to low-income families. This food is for household consumption; recipients must meet state and federal guidelines. Nevada has two regional distributing agencies who further distribute food to approved TEFAP partners. To find a distribution site near you please use the links below.
To Qualify
Each household must read the “Self Declaration Assurance” and certify eligibility by attesting they reside in Nevada, and their household income does not exceed 185% of the federal poverty guidelines.
