The NDA's Industry Development and Marketing program offers a wide range of trade shows, trade missions, and virtual trade opportunities for Nevada companies. In addition to these trade activities Nevada is member state of the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association which has a number of resources for Nevada companies. Sep 21-27 Produce Inbound Mission to ID & NV
Mexico Produce Inbound Trade Mission
This is an excellent opportunity for Western U.S companies interested in meeting one-on-one with qualified produce buyers and expand export sales.
In 2024 Mexico was the top agricultural export market for the U.S. reaching $30.3 billion a 7% increase from 2023.
The inbound mission will connect buyers and suppliers via B2B meetings and site visits, guided tours of onion fields and packing sheds, giving you the opportunity to highlight your produce and learn buyer's needs and preferences.
Benefits of Participation:
The mission will allow suppliers to establish contact with international buyers, importers and distributors specifically interested in sourcing produce. Participants will also acquire up-to-date market intelligence, consumer preferences and trends.
Itinerary:
September 21–Travel to Nevada
September 22 – One-on-one meetings in Yerington, Nevada
September 23 – One-on-one meetings in Winnemucca, Nevada

Dec 1-6 Mexico Outbound Mission
Mexico, Central & South American countries that will be represented in this project, will create an opportunity in these markets for new-to-export companies. Mexico is the largest trade partner of the US and shares a land border, making export logistics much simpler. Many of the countries represented also have free trade agreements with the US. Participants will enjoy industry-compatible and well-vetted buyers in direct B2B meetings in two cities, including Mexico City, Monterrey, with additional buyers flown in from other regions in Mexico, and other countries including Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Chile, and El Salvador.
Participating Companies will receive:
- Hotel lodging - 2 Nights in Mexico City, and 3 Nights in Monterrey.
- Airfare between Mexico City and Monterrey.
- Interpreters, if needed at the tabletop meetings
Benefits of Participation:
- Connect with pre-qualified buyers (retailers, consumer-oriented importers / distributors) representing Mexico, and additional buyers recruited from the following countries: Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Chile, and El Salvador
- Evaluate how your product fits into the marketplace and assess the competitive landscape by engaging with retail and wholesale buyers.
