  • Investigation of consumer complaints of gasoline sales and short weight, measure, and count. 
  • Hearings for petroleum violations before the Board of Agriculture. 
  • Licensing, auditing, and inspection of Public Weighmaster truck and platform scales. 
  • Registration of weighing and measuring device sales and repair personnel. 
  • Package quality control. Routine surveillance of prepackaged consumer products. 
  • Certification of trade standards used to calibrate scales and petroleum delivery devices and repair technicians.
