                A.    *Request to go to workshop and hearing to adopt by reference and draft regulations for the department to administer sections of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Produce Safety Rule (PSR) - Robert Little, Division Administrator,  (for possible action)  

                B.     *Request to go to workshop and hearing to amend NAC 576 - LIVESTOCK AND FARM PRODUCTS: DEALERS, BROKERS, COMMISSION MERCHANTS, CASH BUYERS AND AGENT; ALTERNATIVE LIVESTOCK: to

                • Raise producer/vendor certificate application fee from $50-$75, renewal fee from $30-$50 and re-inspection fee from $30 per hour to $50. All fees related to aquaculture will also set to match those for producer/vendor certificates. These fee changes are being requested to cover costs associated with these functions.
                • Change producer/vendor certificate renewal dates from individual anniversary dates to all being due March 31 of each year.
                • Include a list of operation scopes that are exempt from paying producers certificate fees but are still required to register in order to identify operations that must comply with the FSMA, PSR. - Robert Little (for possible action)  

                C.     *Request to adopt amendments to NAC 586 (LCB File No. R089-15)- MEDICAL USE OF MARIJUANA: The previously approved workshop and hearing was conducted to draft regulation for the department to develop a list of pesticides that are allowed to be used on medical marijuana. No one from industry or the public attended the hearing and no comments or suggestions were submitted. A copy of the final language has been included in the board packet. - Robert Little (for possible action)  

                D.    *Request to adopt amendments to NAC 588 (LCB File No. R147-16)- COMMERCIAL FERTILIZERS AND AGRICULTURAL MINERALS: The previously approved workshop and hearing was conducted to draft regulation for the department to raise the fees on commercial fertilizer and agricultural mineral registration. No one from industry or the public attended the hearing and no comments or suggestions were submitted. A copy of the final language has been included in the board packet. - Robert Little (for possible action)

                E.     *Request to adopt amendments to NAC 576 (LCB File No. R146-6) - STATE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE: The previously approved workshop and hearing was conducted to draft regulations to require anyone offering for sale products of aquaculture to obtain a producers certificate. No one from industry or the public attended the hearing. One written comment was submitted. A copy of the final language has been included in the board packet. - Robert Little (for possible action)
