What We Do:
EXPORT TRAINING AND EDUCATION:
These trainings are designed to inform a group of businesses about the basics of exporting, the steps needed to take in order to find out which global markets to pursue, and state/federal programs that can support companies financially with their global efforts.
The Global Trade & Economic Development program team provides Nevada companies with trade support as a member state of the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) (
), and the U.S. Livestock Genetics Export, Inc (USLGE), our team can assist businesses directly with their international marketing efforts.
CUSTOMIZED ONE-ON-ONE INTERNATIONAL MARKET RESEARCH:
This program is designed to give companies detailed market research support. Our team will sit with companies, one-on-one, to find out which international markets are importing a company's product and show how a company can be competitive in that international market.
ACCESSING GRANTS AND OTHER FUNDING SOURCES:
Our global team is consistently searching for funding opportunities to support companies directly to subsidize the cost of doing business overseas. From funding domestic projects to covering the costs of traveling to a trade show, we help companies find the funds needed to lower the costs of global trade.
INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOW AND TRADE MISSION SUPPORT:
Our team has experience organizing and managing U.S. and WUSATA pavilions at international trade shows. They will be able to assist your company in finding the right trade show for your product and locate funding opportunities to assist you in attending these international trade shows.
The global team has taken companies on industry and governor led outbound trade missions and provided business to business matchmaking meetings in mainland China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Europe, Canada, and Latin America. The global team has brought international buyers, importers, distributors, and sales agents to the U.S. to meet with Nevada companies on inbound trade missions from Mexico, Canada, Europe, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore. Qualified companies have received funding to cover the costs of attending these trade shows, outbound trade missions, or inbound trade missions.
