Las Vegas, Nev. -
January 05, 2024The newest edition of the Nevada Craft Beverage Passport is available at all 45 participating locations across the state. To mark the release of the 2024 Nevada Craft Beverage Passport, HUDL Brewing Company in Las Vegas hosted an event with the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) during which Blue Lizard Farm was presented the 2023 Nevada Agriculture, Food and Beverage Small Business of the Year award by Governor Lombardo, Lieutenant Governor Anthony, Secretary of State Aguilar and Assemblyman Watts.
Slieve Brewing Company in Reno hosted a satellite release celebration with a live feed connecting to the Las Vegas event.
The Nevada Craft Beverage Passport, now in its third year, is a program of the NDA, sponsored by Made in Nevada and Travel Nevada. The program was created to support Nevada’s small craft beverage businesses. The craft beverage industry brings more than $42 million to Nevada each year.
“This passport is a great opportunity to support small business and bolster our economy, while getting to taste the flavors of Nevada-made products,” said NDA Senior Trade Officer Dillon Davidson. “We are proud to be in our third year with 45 establishments representing different parts of Nevada, and grateful to have ongoing support from our local leaders that makes this initiative thrive.”
The Nevada Craft Beverage Passport is free for all patrons, with select locations offering additional specials, and prizes being awarded starting at 10 location stamps. Craft beverage establishments sourcing local Nevada ingredients for their beverages are proudly marked in the passport with a Nevada icon on their designated page. The NDA reminds everyone to stamp responsibly. This means drinking responsibly, designating a driver or committing to use a rideshare program, and respecting the establishments in the Nevada Craft Beverage Passport.
