Nevada Weed Mapping Activities

Nevada Weed Mapping:
Mapping locations of noxious weeds is a vital part of the battle to control these pests.  Through our mapping efforts we can:

  • Understand the magnitude of the problem

  • Gauge the rate of spread

  • Prioritize locations for control efforts

  • Assist researchers in identifying new control measures

  • Gauge our success in controlling noxious weeds

Federal, state and local government agencies, as well as, interested private organizations and individuals contribute to the weed mapping effort.
