Public Weighmaster Program

Inter and intra state commerce requires the accurate weighing of freight and shipped goods. Public weighmasters apply for the ability to issue an approved weigh ticket that conforms to the specifications as outlined in NRS Chapter 582. This ticket carries the endorsement of the State of Nevada that stipulates that the weighmaster has met the requirements of the statute. An audit of their tickets is performed as part of the Bureau's activities.
