Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute 581.065, commercial devices utilized to determine the weight, measurement, quantity, and price of a commodity or service to the public (i.e. scales, gas pumps, truck scales, concrete plants, liquefied petroleum gas meters, large capacity petroleum meters, scanners, and measurement etc.) are licensed and inspected by the State of Nevada Division of Measurement Standards, Bureau of Weights and Measures.
